Middle School tryouts- Am I the only one who has ever sat in a parking lot and cried with/for your child?

Hope you're having a great week , it's a great time to start making winning your habit.
Middle School Tryouts
In the past 2 weeks I have talked to dozens of friends who have kids going through Middle-School tryouts for basketball or volleyball right now.  It is brutal.  I've been on both sides of the 'made it' / 'didn't make it' parenting.  Brutal.

Most of the parents I talk to don't desire for their kids to play in the NFL or even college level athletics - they just want their kid to be able to enjoy being on a middle-school or high-school team.  Is this true for you?

This has led me to do some research on the question:
'Do I have to involve my child in travel sports starting in 4th grade so they can make their middle-school team?'
There has got to be a better way.  Still working on the research - shoot me a quick note or story with your thoughts on this or if you have been affected by this: craig@winningyouthcoaching.com
